•2010 Season:
March Magic, Williamston NC
The show season was kicked off with March
Magic in Williamston North
Carolina March 27-29th. It was a great start to the show season.
Everyone
was well prepared and got down center line with great results.
Revlon and Kris were paired on
Friday for the first day of the show. They
rides were rewarded with wonderful scores. 71% at first level test one
and a
70% for first level test two. They placed 1st and 2nd in those classes.
Congratulations to Lorrie Truess and
Revlon, Showing first level one and two
and both Saturday and Sunday Lorrie and Revlon continue to develop and
grow.
Claudia Camp and Raphoni Solyst
simply shined! Showing Second level test two
and four they received scores of 63, 66, and 65%. They finished the
weekend
winning the Southeby's Stakes class for second level. CONGRATULATIONS
CLAUDIA.
•2009 Season:
Williamston, NC
It was a weekend for debuts:
Lorrie Truess
on
Revlon;
Tamara Harman
on Ultimate Dream (Riva); and
Danielle Boyle
with Allegro (Ali) all showed for the first time together:
Lorrie and Tamara at training level, and Danielle, at second level.
Lisa
Dickman,
and
Patsy Jones
provided support for 'their riders' and
generally 'helped out'. (Patsy doubled as 'team photographer').
Lorrie, Tamara and Danielle demonstrated the poise, and elegance of
those
who know their sport, and take it seriously.
Lisa, and Patsy did those things which give riders the real chance of
succeeding.
Raleigh, Labor of Love
As our show season continued over labor day weekend in Raleigh, we were
joined by two new riders:
Madison Truess
on Davidson Jewel ( Sparkles); and
Jan
Mullis
on Bright Path (Yogi).
Lorrie Truess
on Revlon and
Danielle Boyle
on Allegro showed as well.
Lorrie
and Revlon made the jump to first level and had a super ride, while
continuing to shine at training level. They are starting to develop a
real
partnership...
Jan
Mullis
and Yogi also made the jump to first level. Poised and elegant as
always they put in four nice rides.
Madison
on Sparkles, and
Danielle
on Allegro simply hit it out of the park:
It was
Madison's
first
time at a dressage show, and she rode with style,
bringing in four ribbons in four rides: Two blues (!!!) a red and a
yellow.
(WAY TO BRING IT MADISON.)
And
Danielle Boyle
on Allegro scored a magnificent 71 % at second level.
This 'personal best' was the high score second level ride for the show.
(JUST GORGEOUS DANIELLE)
A special thanks to Ashley
Ford and Eileen Osgood
for helping keep everyone
looking beautiful and on time.
